  I'm not exactly fitting in here and no one wants to be friends with a newbie. I think I have given up now.

  Hey, don't leave so soon. It may take a while to adjust. Don't think people
  don't want to be your friend. We do. It would just take a few more days
  for you to meet, know and be friends.

  You can't make a whole pile of friends in 2 days! It takes time! Go introduce yourself and talk to someone! :)
