The only problem is, I have had times where I don't come on for a period of 2-3 months and bump soaps that I was doing or my own thread for story ideas before I took the break. I just wouldn't want to not be able to bring something up if I needed to.

How about if the thread was locked, the person who created it could still post on it? Like a personal thread, for example.

That would ruin the idea. If the person who created it could still post, a spammer could continue to bump up their threads.

But I wish there would be a way for that. Like I told Rain, moderators could have the ability to unlock it for you.
