Gotoquiz uses 2 cookies, PHPSSESID and quizuser.
PHPSSESID is a session, it goes away when the browser closes.
Quizuser will log you back into an account when browser is reopened.
However if you log out of one account quizuser remains, so if you log in to an account which you set to not remember you your PHPSSESID will say your A, yet quizuser says your B. So when you close and reopen your browser you become B again. -

layman's terms:
The thing that remembers what you are right now is A and the thing that remembers who you're set to automatically log in to is B. A disappears when you close and B stays forever. So if you're logged in to A and close the window, when you reopen it, the only thing your computer will remember is that you were B. -
