  Instead of confusing people by saying hi and another user replys and if you get a reply you get like a notification on your profile page.

  I think I know where they're getting at.
  
  There could be a little mailbox on your profile and you can click on it. You can check your little "mailbox" for any replies to posts you make and then you can reply to them.

  See, when we log in, the fist page that opens is the Create a poll page. Instead of that, ourprofile page should open first. Then, this concept will work.
