Applepie0406 NewbieGTQ Guy.
Why do new users have to wait longer to post? It's basically showing favoritism. Why are we discriminated? Us newbies didn't do anything wrong! -
It's only 30 seconds, this 65 seconds for me is f---ing terrible though.
-
Eh, I partially agree. Although, I must hit your reasons.
It isn't favoritism, it is a pre-caution. We are not being discriminated, it is just the history of Newbie's for... Well... GTQ history.
Most Newbies that come on here are trolls, or at-least half of the Newbie population.
Does that solve your question satisfactorily? -
Geek, I feel really bad for you. I truly believe that the extended wait time is un-fair. You haven't done any-thing but... Well... Mostly chaoticly good stuff in the past month or so. It seems an un-justice.
-
Applepie0406 NewbieWell someone should make a ban feature. Then leave newbies alone. Ban trolls.
Pre caution is hurtful. Why would you think we did something wrong?! And not all trolls are newbies.
And no. That did not solve my question. -
Stop complaining. You still get to make posts and threads. So what's the big deal? We all went through it. You're just low on the totem pole so you have a longer wait time as newb. If you don't like it then level up.
-
Apple, kindly stop complaining.
3/4 of the trolls on this site have been newbies. So wouldn't it be a reasonable solution to make the posting limit just a bit longer to keep the trolling down a bit? Yes, this does make sense. Also, to level up to novice and have a few seconds shaved off, all you have to do is make a quiz, which won't even take that long. If you care so much, then make a quiz and level up. Also, many newbies--even if they aren't trolls-- are immature and untrustworthy. Most of the older-statused users have put tons of effort into leveling up, or have been here a long time, which proves their maturity and willingness to try. I suggest you take a lesson from them
I hope this helped. ^-^ -
The history of newbies has made GTQ Guy take a small pre-caution. It isn't hurt-ful, just protective. Here a few examples of trolls who immediately started when they became... Well when they joined, really.
sonic_x IS GAY - The name is in-appropriate, and so are they're messages. They have said many sexual deviated objectives, such as "Hey baby, mind if I piss all over yo b---- ass pubic hair?". Example bossed.
JOKER1001ISGAY - Do I really have to explain?
Troll_Is_1_ - Is a different type of troll. Instead of trolling people directly, he instead spammed the forums, making brand new threads go down by around 1-4 days worth.
YO MOM - Same thing as Troll_Is_1.
Account56 - Was on for a very short period of time, but instead of being obvious, they were simply very sarcastic and rude.
ALL of these started when they became a Newbie. Every troll on here has given the Newbie race a bad name, possibly making them look like hazards.
Making you wait 5 more seconds is simply a pre-caution. It doesn't affect the trolls much, but it traded efficiency for order. GTQ Guy could make it where Newbies couldn't speak PERIOD, and still have a considerable reason.
Does THAT answer your question satisfactorily? -
30 seconds is the normal time for newbies, I have no idea why you are complaining...Moderator
-
Actually, 35 seconds is the wait time for newbies. Although, I still agree. I do not see the point in complaining. Of course, maybe I', under-estimating some-thing.
-
I was never a newbie actually... I signed up and then had to go on a trip and when I came back I was novice... but when I signed up I was novice too...I dunno why.
-
It's been put in place to assure that you're not a spambot. It's nothing against you. I don't see how it's discrimination though; you will level up.
-
Jenniferdu Novice@mistyheart13, that happened to me, too. So weird.
-
If you make a quiz you're auto novice.
-
If you linked a quiz you...auto noviceModerator
