I thought it might be cool to give and receive personal messages from other users. Like a mailbox but nobody could see it but the users discussing.
So you're probably going to say, "What if people talk trash between themselves about other users and cause drama?"
That's where the moderators come in, if GTQ Guy promotes some. The moderators will be able to view all private discussions and suspend users if necessary.
Here's another idea. Friend requests? You know, like, there could be an option under all that stuff where it says the username of the user, then their joining date, status, etc..saying "Add as Friend". Then, once you're already friends, it'll say "Friends." And you can delete users from being your friend too. And maybe there could be a friend list on your profile.

What's the point of a private discussion when Mods can read it? Plus, it would be too tiring and more Facebooking.......

It would be private for the users discussing and moderators only. There are going to be, like what, a few moderators? It'll only be between them.
And this is GTQ, not Facebook. I just thought this was a cute idea. -
Nahhh, then idiots will start spamming the inbox now which will force Gtq Guy to introduce adding friends like on facebook so you can only message among them which is a lot of work...
