Thread Topic: Who would like to be mods anyway?
-
I'm probably too late on this but just in case, I would love to volunteer. I've seen this site grow and I'm good at being unbiased. However, I'm not sure at the flaws that I might have if I get picked at being moderator...
-
Thanks guys. ;~;
> BLOB xD
I thought you left GTQ, Teresa :O
Teresa could also be a great mod. She's really mature. -
Heh I got busy. :P
I'll be one if needed, but I probably won't be needed so yeah. -
Oh yeah.
What can moderators do exactly? Like delete posts, suspend accounts, etc.? -
No
-
The offensive button now gives penalty points and the more it has been clicked the greyer it turns, until it disappears completely. Mods will be able to give more penalty points to than the other users.
-
There is actually delete posts coded into gtq, however it is currently admin only.
A quick look over that first line will show that offensive shows if you are logged in, and delete shows if admin.
And javascript injections and forms from other places don't work on delete.html so is a secure setup. -
This thread makes me miss my old account XD
-
Why did I click that? I don't trust you, Geek.
Oh, and Geek may/may not be a good candidate. -
I will never click another one of Geek's links, ever.
Geek is a terrible candidate. He also hacked my email .-. -
Well, he hacks too much. Being admin? Noo...
Unless, of course, Geek shapes up and stops hacking every-thing with low security, and hating Newbies because of their low rank. -
There's Acutally only 2 people I wouldn't recommend as admins xD
-
Unloving. I never hacked your email.
-
I don't think Geek can hack her e-mail... Yet, at-least.
-
I could've probably, I just respect the law and know my legal boundaries.
