  LoL, yeah I would be really annoyed at that too! One of my friends' surnames is Wvaste and people pronounce it as 'waste' when it's pronounced 'vat' and she screamed the last time someone said that! I feel sorry for those people that have a surname like Longbottom! LoL, now that would suck.
