I have made quizzes, polls, posts. I have taken quizzes and polls snd responded on them. I have been here for a while... why hasnt my status changed or my bar go up?

Your status will eventually get higher.
But before you haven't been going on the forums often, just keep posting on the forums and take quizes/comment on them and your status will get higher.
One more thing, it takes a while for the status bar to get higher -
