I like Bob's suggestion. It's elegant and creative.
Also, I think a secret room would be horrible. It'd just divide and cause even more tension between old and new people. -
All a secret forum would do is make everyone experience the horror of being a newbie twice. It wouldn't solve anything.
If we're going to have a special forum, then incorporate it with another idea we've had before. Make a special forum only for Moderators. -
Only for Moderators. In which, everyone I talk to would go into it, then I'd be stuck outside with all these idiots...

Honestly, if we're getting new forums, I think it would be useful to be able to move threads to other forums. For example, I won't want to keep bugging people with an RP in Offbeat if we have a roleplay Forum. If we could move threads to the relevant forum when the new forums were added, it would cause better organization on the GTQ Forums.
Then again, this could cause page issues similar to the one we have on Hikky's huge thread in Music. -
The separation by join date isn't a good idea. Just because you're an older user doesn't mean you're mature or won't spam.

Have "recent quizzes taken" for the user to see. That way if they wrote a comment and would like the quiz makers reply it would be easier to find. Rather than searching through all the quizzes or writing the quiz names down, we could simply click! :)
Also very useful for story quizzes! We could say what story quizzes we want to follow.
Also, we could be alerted when a new part to our favourite stories are released!
