  So there's this guy I like. He's four years older than me and is also a friend of mine. I get to see him about once a week and that's during the practice for the band we're in. I really like him, but I don't think he likes me back and in 2014 he's leaving. I don't want to ruin our friendship, yet I hope to be more than friends. What should I do? I've never been in a relationship before, and I've never had a crush on anyone before, so I'm pretty n00b at this. If you need more information then just ask.

  In 2013, you should try to talk to him about your feelings. Waiting too long is bad, but going in too early is worse. Just go with the flow.

  well, if he's leaving, then just wait till he's alone sometime. Then just be like, hey, NAME, ya know? I really think I like you. Then walk out of the room. It'll be in his hands then, and if nothing happens it's no biggie.
