I do not like him at all romantically. He's just a friend.
Today in the auditorium, I saw him with his girlfriend but took no notice of her. So, as a JOKE, I walked up to him and said, "Heeyyy babe." and I forgot his girlfriend was there....... it was JUST A JOKE. But his girlfriend took it so seriously. She gave me dirty looks for the rest of the assembly and just keeps glaring at me.
My guy friend was cool with it because he knows it's just a close, inside joke we share.
But on the way to first period, his girlfriend pushed me against the wall by my shirt and said, "Stay away from my boyfriend! He's MINE. Not yours. f--- off!"
What should I do? Do you think she overreacted or was it all my mistake? -

She's being possessive. She's over reacting. And she's becoming hateful over it.
It's up to you. Tell her to piss off. Or try and explain things to her. Maybe have her boyfriend explain it.
It's middle school. If she's got her panties in a twist already, it's probably not going to get better. Consider the fact that right now you're free. You can either try and associate yourself with her again, in which case you'll have to deal with whatever other drama she starts; or you can move on, in which case you'll have one less friend.
I don't know. But I wouldn't even try and make it up to her. Sounds like a bitch to me. -
She's being a bit retarded if you ask me. Explain to her that it's been an inside joke for a while, and if she doesn't understand, the she's just a jerk. It's middle school so it's not like she's going to wind up having a serious and not awkward relationship with him. If she's really being stupid about it, tell her that^, and explain to the friend what u meant if that comment upsets him. Hope I helped ! (:

um...yeah. posessive. try to patch things up with her, just be like, "it's an inside joke, I didn't see you were there...so chill." probably say it when your friend is there or else you'll probably get slapped in the face, though.
say it with a smile, not like you're angry or think she's crazy(even if you do) because it won't help.
yeah, it was a mistake, but she really did overreact. -
She sounds like a posessive jerk if you ask me. If it was me, i would just explain to her it was an inside joke and move on and put it in the past

Her jealousy could seriously lead to the downfall of their relationship. Jealousy causes only trouble with the relationship. :/
Frankly, you should've told him about it considering she could possibly listen to him more than the person she's upset with. Depends.
