  I did do a big change I cut my hair (from waist length to pixie) dyed it (platniem blond to chocolate brown) and I can't ask him what his name is we've been in almost the same classes since 5'th grade any other ideas

  How about this get friends of yours (who know him)and converse with him.Once you start talking just ask him the random questions like "What do you like?" and casual (random) questions like that.Then just give it some time.Definantly be yourself.Don`t play hard to get cause then he won`t like you the way you want him to.Let him see the nice,fun,outgoing side of you.And if he doesn`t like you for you than he isn`t worth liking like that anymore.
