Thread Topic: How can you forget someone?

  Well im trying to forget someone. I like him, but its for the best i just forget about him. But everywhere i freaking look, his name is EVERYWHERE. Last time i saw him was a school in July. I'll see him again in September, but i REALLY want to forget about him. Please guys, any help?

  its hard to forget some1
  1st you have to forgive everything that happened between you 2 then you need to slowly forget after forgiving everything youll feel more at peace and itll make it easier to forget them

  You're obviously still going to see and hear about this guy. You must rid your feelings for this person.
  If there sincere feelings they won't go away anytime soon, so you must begin to accept - no matter how difficult and painful it may be - that what's history is history. You clearly have feelings for him as you wouldn't be thinking of him so much.
  It all depends on how you feel. You don't have to feel anything for him, just feel less and more 'friendly' towards him and soon you'll forget him.
  
  It really is your feelings towards this guy that needs to be confronted.

  well i'm a person who always used to repeat to myself "i am better off alone and they are better off w/o me"..i lost out on alot...then i finally let someone in and trusted them...but they broke my heart...i've moved on have a bf (whom i love n is amazing) but i still think about him sometimes and bc he was my first true love i'll never forget him but i don't love him anymore either...a memory is like a scar it becomes less visible as time goes on.

  I have the same feeling as you namy,there was a girl that i thought i can never forget her,but now after 4 months i think i did over come this.you feel forget him by the time you try. :3

  well honestly if you loved someone....you never stop caring for them, never stop wanting them to be happy...it sucks i can't forget ...can't forgive all the way..n can't hate them..but like i said the love for them i used to feel is gone.
