If I were majorly in love, I would probably cry for days and mope around. But then again, I do that anyway.
If I weren't really in love or losing interest, I'd be a little relieved but still have some sadness. -

See the last break up I went through I cryed for days and barely ate anything for a month. I was soo bad that I am literally still afraid to date another guy. Now that I talk about it I realize how much I miss him. :(

When you know you are both separating it is good to know why the other half has come to this conclusion, it can be a great peace of mind in many areas; unless of course it was an amicable separation.
For some, comforting eating or ranting may be a great release but pays no true assistance in the future.
Firstly, you need to look deep inside yourself and address those feelings and evaluate them; why am feeling them? What does it mean? Was a past event the purpose for these feelings? This is basically a stage of grieving and self discovery.
Secondly, you must accept. If you don't begin to accept the hard and painful reality of acceptance you'll never get anywhere.
Thirdly, be cautiously optimistic. Don't become pessimistic; no one will ever be attracted to that and you are not doing yourself any favours. Be optimistic, start small and grow big, but be cautious. Getting back on horse after a fall is not always easy; you must be realistic.
Fourthly, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. You should have a burning desire to triumph after a separation. Think about how desirable, confident and opportunistic you'll be.
You will triumph and be stronger if you have the right mind and attitude; there is always a light at the end of a tunnel if you want one to be there, waiting for you.

when i broke up with my first boyfriend, i didn't cry or anything. He had cheated on me with the biggest skank at our school,. so i was extremely pissed off and i was just disgusted with him. i got over him pretty quickly. That was in 7th grade, and he still tries to call me. My boyfriend answered the phone once and basically told him to fuk off. i love my boyfriend
