So I started dating one of my friends (they/them) because I thought I liked them, but it turns out it's just a platonic attraction and idk how to tell them. This is the second time it's happened. I feel like I'm playing them like a fiddle.

I don't know what to say except tell them. Just be honest. If you don't tell them sooner rather than later, it'll be a lot worse when they finally find out. I know it feels suckish, either way, but just be honest.

I did it. Also I don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now anyways. My last one resulted in him trying to break into my house and doing stuff to me.
