Ok, so, um, I really need help...
I have this very close friend and his sister told me that he liked me, also, my friend confirmed it. Plus, I had a guess. His sister told me during a phone call with him and now when we talk, it's awkward. I found out that he liked me for years, but he wanted to wait to tell me cause my past experience with romance weren't the best.
I don't like him that much to date him and plus, I don't wanna date him cause I've been having some problems and I don't wanna make a mistake to bring that into our relationship. I don't know what to do right now, I'm not much of a romance person so I need help on what to do cause I think he's going to tell me his feelings soon
I know I sound stupid, but I'm just having so much to think about -
Yeah, Kaylah, he told me he was gonna confess soon, so I think you should just tell him that your not interested but in a nice way, he shouldn't be upset, if he liked you a lot, he would listen and understand

I think you just need to be as gentle as possible when letting him down- that’s all you can really do. Say that he’s amazing and that he’ll find someone, but you aren’t that person. Say something like that and try to be extra gentle- a heart is a fragile thing

Just do things how you normally do them around him, without thinking about his thoughts and things. You obviously enjoy his company for him to be 'this very close friend' so enjoy his company and just try to put his feelings for you in the back of your mind.
And when/if he tells you he likes you you can tell him that you don't like him that way and you don't think you're ready for a relationship. -
You Dont Need To Stress. Honestly, If You Dont Want To Break His Heart, You Can Say, I Appreciate The Offer But, I Dont Really Feel The Same. Just Dont Stress About It. It Happens A Lot. Maybe You Just Know Him That Much. He Will Understand. Im Sure You Guys Will Find A Spot To Forgive Eachother. Just Dont Worry About It To Much, And Everything Will Be Fine.
