I asked "What would you say if I asked you out?" I haven't heard from her since I sent that but she might be grounded or something. Idekf

Idk man but don't assume the worst, I'm sure that if you are close to this girl and you guys have been friends for a long time, nothing too bad is going to happen. The worst she can do is say no, but I'm sure the two of you can still be friends even if she says no. It doesn't have to be awkward. And who knows? The best that could happen is that she says yes! I believe in you, and I wish you the best of luck!
