This sounds crazy coming from me (conservative christian ahaha) but would getting Tinder be worth it? I wouldn't be there for a relationship or for a hookup.
Kinda defeats the purpose of Tinder, I knowI kinda just want to make friends, not give out any personal info, but just make friends. Not unlike GTQ. This a good idea or no? I'm 18, I'm not scared of it, but any feedback would be awesome ^^ -

No. Tinder is not worth it. Tinder is kinda shady. I recently rejoined and got banned for literally no reason, and once you're banned, you're banned

Hey I’m just the right person to answer this question considering I have tried it in different states and cities and am very notorious at making stupid impulsive decisions
I’ve actually made 2 friends using tinder that I still talk to.
There is such thing as tinder university. You meet friends there to study with. It’s honestly not as shady as most people think. You just have to be smart and know how to spot a fake account so you don’t get jumped.
As for regular tinder, from personal experience most people that use it are either looking for instagram clout (such as “my dms don’t work message me on Instagram @____ instead ;)”). Others are also there for friends as well and state it in their bio. At the end of the day most 18 year olds are socially awkward and make friends via internet only too
The rest (like 25%) are bots or fake profiles.
The other percent is actually there to smash and pass.
