My opinion you should not date him if he is 21 your likely to date him maybe months but the fact you hadn't told you parents is a problem. And first off check your spelling

Idk man. My boyfriend is 3 years and 7 months older than me, but he's only a couple inches taller than me, and we have about the same maturity level. Plus where I live, we have a law called the Romeo and Juliet law where if you are a minor and you're dating an adult, they can't be more than four years older then you. Since that isn't the case with us, it's perfectly fine.
