You're twelve years old. Not to sound like I'm insulting you, because I mean this all in the best of nature, but you probably haven't even hit puberty yet. You're probably going through an awkward faze right now, which is cool, everyone goes through that; it's totally okay. I'm sure your family and friends might be teasing you in a friendly way, but if they're not, I suggest you don't date at this age. Honestly, holding a relationship is hard work, and it's not something someone of your age should go through, personally. You should enjoy the little kid freedom you have without being bound with a relationship, because it's going to be gone before you know it. Enjoy yourself! You don't need a boyfriend to impress your family or friends! Do what you think is best, but I'd hold off and just ignore them. You don't need the drama of a relationship, and don't feel pressured into getting one, either. In due time you'll find someone when you're older, but as for now, don't worry about it. Go out and be carefree. You can worry about this stuff when you're older, trust me on this.
