So I'm with somebody, but...they are the opposite sex. And......I think I'm gay (though only for the right person?).....so....uh, this is confusing.

Romantic and sexual attraction can be different, you know. If you like the same sex, well, sexually, then you're homosexual. And if your crush is the opposite sex, maybe you're hetero-romantic. Or maybe you're something else. When it comes to labels, your romantic orientation is basically the same as labeling your sexual orientation. Romantic orientation is basically who you're open to being in a relationship with. Sexual orientation is who you have sex with or wanna have sex with. They don't have to be the same. And they can be complete opposites, like wanting to date[I] the opposite sex and wanting to [I]have sex with the same sex.

Also, just be upfront and honest. You never know, if you never end up telling them it could've turned out that they like you too and you wouldn't have ever known.
