Okay, so, yeah, cliche but.. There's this boy. (Ohmgod isn't there always) He's in the grade above me, but that doesn't really matter, I guess. We had two classes together last year, and if he passed Biology, we'll have two classes together next year. He's like, the biggest dork.. He's into anime, and he likes reading stuff like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. He's allergic to peanut butter and red dye, and he's 5'5"(I HATE that. I can't wear heels around him. It sucks..) He's in drama club and class, and he's an avid Christian, but one of the ones who actually make you want to go to church. He's in the church's praise band, and he's also in the youth leadership team. He's such a nerd, and he has glasses, and his favorite color is purple, and he does that stupid peace sign thing every time he sees me.
Ugh and his stupid smile makes me want to melt.
He doesn't talk in the car, (I would know, him and his mom drive me to church every Sunday) and he owns a truck that the AC needs to be fixed in. He prefers braided hair over curled, but hair down over up, and he likes skirts over dresses, and blue and green over anything else. (At least on me) He does yard work every Saturday, and his mom works at my old elementary school, even though he attended the other one. His mom doesn't like jingly earrings, and they bought me two scarves for Christmas last year.
He's an avid listener, and has a pretty good sense of humor. He's such a sweetheart, and he's really considerate about other people's feelings.
And I have no clue what to do.
Because it took me a loooong while to find all that out. He's pretty much a closed book who doesn't let anyone inside. And he'd rather focus on his school work, but I know that he's looking for someone to ask out to Junior Prom this coming year.
How, exactly, do I be sure that it's me? -
Talk to him as much as you can, but not too much that you're seen as needy/clingy. Play it cool once in a while. Be his friend. Flirt. You'll get there :)

Ohmygod you described someone I know XD pretty similar cept he's out of school now.
Just chat him up, try not to come off too strong, start off slow then ease into asking.Good luck! be straight up and don't drop hints-that's just confusing-get to the point.
