So there's this guy. His name is Kody (yes, with a K) and he is sooooo cute. He's nice and quiet and he doesn't get into trouble a lot. He's fairly smart, I think. He's in three of my classes: P.E. (which sucks, because I'm not the best athlete, and he is, so he sees me fail stuff), Social Studies (also sucks, because we have to do public speaking and I completely embarrassed myself in front of him during a presentation), and English (not that bad, because that's something I'm pretty good at).
As you might guess, my real name is not Ariana, but you can continue calling me that, thank you very much. My real name sounds shallow and formal and I don't like it at all (see, this is why I come on the Internet: I can make up any name for myself that I want and not sound shallow and conceited).
He's barely said 10 words to me since the year started. I don't want to get off to a bad start with him. Help, need advice, please! -

Yes, please. But I think it might be too late. We're already midway through the semester and the three things he's said to me are:
"Hi." (Mumbling, very distinct.)
"Thanks." (For passing him a basketball during P.E.)
"Oh, I just circled that for no reason." (In response to a stupid question I asked.)
I've made eye contact with him a lot, so I think he thinks I'm a weirdo who stares at him frequently.
