So i've liked this boy for 4 years and I love him, and one of my besties who I;ve only known for a year but is the sweetest girl ever just said she had a crush on him. Some of my friends took a vote (they all have class together without me) and thought that she would be better with the boy I'm in love with. They think she "Deserves" him. Her father has buckets of money, she has a bf and a phone, she is going to be singing on America's Got Talent and is one of the happiest people I know. My mom may be going to jail, my family is kind of poor and my parents are split and I'm kind of depressed lately. Please tell me if I'm just being selfish or what to do.

You're being selfish. She probably also feels pain somewhere behind that seemingly happy life at home. Whether you're rich or poor does not determine who you should be with.
