There's this guy who really really likes me. We've been friends for about 8 months or so. He asked me out so many times though I told him that I can't. We stayed friends and all and yesterday he finally exploded and said a bunch of stuff about how I'm different from the others and how he thinks I'm the best and he ended it saying "I love you Lily. I truely love you." I don't want a relationship right now. I don't like him. He's a nice guy and he is good looking but I don't want anyone right now. I'm still not over my last relationship because I might still have feelings for my ex. I have no feelings for that guy. I don't even want to be friends with him anymore. I've told him 100 times that there is no way I am doing out with him, or anyone else, but he won't let go. I don't know what else to do. Please help me, I don't want to break any hearts because I am already heart broken and I know how much it f---ing sucks. Please help me to get rid of him nicely.

Well if he actually did like you he would have left you alone already, he sounds obsessed to me.
I am not quite familiar with this but I asked my friend what she would say if she were in your position she said the best thing to say is "If you really like me, you would leave me alone" and she also said a slap to the face works wonders, if he doesn't stop but I am not a fan of that one... good luck hope I helped -

I handled a guy easily two weeks ago, but this one was really hard. But.. I ended it. It was a long talk, he cried later. It's just a bit weird to see the muscully jock cry. But it's best for him you know? The heart break I just gave him is alot less serious than the heart break I'd have probably given him later. It's easier for him to forget me now; Eventhough he still says he loves me. He kept asking me to tell him that I loved him. Well I don't. I can't lie about something like that. If I say I love you to someone, I mean it with all my heart. But I have no feelings for that guy. I'm seriously glad that it's over now. -
I think the first you need to do is to start to help yourself get over your ex. Maybe once your over him, you would actually want to go out with this guy. So you might as well tell him to wait for a while.

I do try to get over him. I swear I've tried so hard. It's just... I don't know, it's hard. I don't know what else to do. And no I don't want to date that guy.

You will be hung- up over your ex and he will be heartbroken knowing not only that you don't like him but he's your back up to boost your self-esteem at the moment and yo u are doing this out of pity, guilt, and remorse.
