They never work. Ever. -

Be noticeably weird, but in a friendly way.

Hi my name is ___ and I like to cuddle. (It's weird yes but it confuses them and makes it a lot easier to talk)

I've probably told you this one before, but ask how much a polar bear weighs. When they say I don't know, say "enough to break the ice". There's also the less subtle and far more creepy "if you were a door, I'd slam you all night". Stick with the polar bears.
