  I've known him for years, he's funny and easy to talk to and just a great guy. We talk a lot and he always pays attention to me when we do and looks sad when he has to leave. But it still feels like we're just friends and I would die if I lost what we have, so I'm still looking for signs. What's worse is he goes to a different school from me but we do live nearby to each other.

  Wait for signs. But show some signs to him in case he's like shy and waiting for you to make a move.

  Maybe you should show some of your signs, or invite him to do more activities with you so he opens up more to you, and feels a more-than-friends relationship with you. Idk.
