Ah, let's see, Steven Universe? How surprising, people still love a Tumblr-targeted cartoon trying to shove biased morals in your face. Besides my obvious animosity towards the show, I've managed to sacrifice my will to watch a few episodes and I am pretty sure forced gems look more visually interesting and have much more of the anatomy of a monster and less of a drag queen wearing flamboyant rainbow colors. It confuses me, the colors are all over the place and have no sort of connection or theme. It's like someone offered a twelve year old melted crayons and it got all over a coloring page of some s----tier Barnes and Noble cheap manga coloring book and that's what you get.
The anatomy is weird and lazy. I get you're trying to emulate the show's typical style but it looks nothing like it besides it has thick brush outlines. The face is non-proportionate from the rest of her body and it's like her hair cloaks the rest of her head.
The whole thing just needs more detail and less color. -
