Just to see how I progress as the years go on ( I say this but watch this thread get abandoned in like a day)
If you want to critique my work please do. My anatomy sucks, I can't colour and I really want to improve. -
Gravity falls Oc's Mary and Elizabeth. Faeries posing as humans for some reason that the group hasn't decided yet -
Madoka Magica Oc Cecil Robinson.
Sailor theme.
Her weapon is a water pistol and it shoots out really strong and forceful water blasts that can kill a witch and stuff.
Her wish was to be free like the river.
Apart from the anatomy I'm fairly proud of how she turned out -
These are great puppet :0 especially the first one, I really like the shading!

I like the first one, it's really nice.
For anatomy, you're really not that bad. Of course, it could use improvement, but it's honestly not the worst I've seen. If you want to improve, I suggest sketching or studying the actual human body to learn proportions, shape, and flexibility. Your arms and legs are very rectangular when you draw them, which makes them look a little odd, because arms and legs are not just straight lines down or across. Once again, learning the shaping of the actual body can help with this issue.
For shading, you need more variety in colour and tone. Try using various shades of the same, or similar, colours that work well together and also try pressing down harder or lighter to achieve different tones. I suggest experimenting with colouring pencils and pencils to see how they work together and seeing what you can do when different pressure is applied. Figuring out your dark spots can also help to determine which areas need darker shading then others.
