Basicly a hundred years ago the sister of a charcater named nia was killed a picture of the killer was left the face all messed up
And since then every generation of Nias family have had this happen
The current generation Skye is friends with a seer who foresaw Valentina ( the sister ) covered in blood so they took Val's picture halved it and did the same to the killer to try and figure it out. -
( The cat girl (is an immortal ( in youth but can be killed ) chaotic spirit and as many little girls like kitties it's why she had chosen that form ) messed up her face with water so Nia would not know who to look for neither would her later Decsendents.
She targets this families children because of their souls power and purity. -
