I wish i could draw like you
All i can do is copy most of the time without tracing -3- -
I got a tip from this aspiring storyboard artist named Lyndie(I think) and one of the tips was definitely use references but don't entirely copy them because you will just basically replicate or imitate another art style and that will block you from creating your own ideal art style. She also said that one time this person used to copy stuff from mangas, identically everything, and when they were asked to draw something without copying an anime or whatever, they could only draw a stick figure because they had no individuality or distinguished uniqueness about their art. I felt like I should say that to you because copying and tracing can be used for good and bad, and sometimes it can screw you up.
