FlowerValley NewbieMake a digital drawing? Do you use Photoshop? Or...?
And how do you do it? -
a lot of people use professional digital painting/ drawing programs, some people, yes, do use Photoshop, others just use simpler, free, programs. And last but not exactly least, some people just use the Paint that comes with every computer nowdays.I use a little bit of all of these but mostly everything like photoshop I can't afford according to my parents.
-
FlowerValley NewbieYeah I get that but how do you make drawings on Photoshop? I mean, I just know how to edit pictures, but to draw? No idea.. Need some help on that one.
-
Well I have to use a lite-type version and I'm horrible with Photoshop so sorry, I'm not much help

Just download Sketchbook Express on a laptop, and it's even mobil for mobile devices like phones, tablets, etc. I also highly recommend of Sketchbook Pro, but that program costs like maybe a dollar or two to buy on the appstore or vise versa.
-
Make little stick figure people on MS Paint.
-
FlowerValley NewbieThanks, swagg boss.
Rain: I used to do that around 10 years ago XD not any more -
If you have a iPad they have a thing called Sketchbook Express you could use that.
-
FlowerValley NewbieThanks Jinx! I downloaded it on my phone.
Thanks a lot,guys! -
ORRRR.... What animators use (and what I use) is a CyberTablet. It's really great to hook up with your computer and quite cheap- only 30-40$ I'd recommend that, but if you can't really buy that, then go with Jinx.
-
FlowerValley NewbieDo you make animations? What software do you use for that? I've heard of Autodesk Maya. Do you use that one?
-
Actually, I just hook up the pad with my computer and use InkScape. I take my frames and convert them to my Movie Maker, put together frames (add details and such) then bluetooth it to my phone. Same with my digital art, and walla. It works really good, and I recommend also getting the SAI paint tool to help, but it does cost, so it's optional. Really, the only thing you have to pay for is the tablet (or any additional payments to the software you use for advanced equipment, but I'd take baby steps.)

^ Oh, and Gimp is a good one for shading and shadowing. Also good for texture.
