why you feel the need to critique my art when you got your own damn s--- to work on when it comes to drawing
i mean i'm not saying nobody can critique, but you shouldn't be the one to do it
"fix the hair" b---- no, the hair's fine
"fix the chair" ok well i'll try to practice then?? yeah the wheels are a little wonky but i don't draw with chairs often, i'm trying new stuff and poses
you always draw in the same poses with the same facial expression and the same position, why don't you try changing it up a bit? i'm not going to do everything perfect the first time -
hum hum i'm probably gonna remake now that this thread is getting old and has reached 50+ pages! don't want it to get too cluttered up
now then....... onto br0wniebunny's art thread 2.0! -
No, I can critique anything, I shouldn't be excluded. I firmly believe artists should look upon artists. Yeah, I'm not Picasso or those extravagant and experienced Tumblr or Instagram artists (yet), but I was pointing out things I didn't find right. Nobody should be excluded, I love critiques more than I ever did, I embrace them and I really hope I subconsciously absorb them and learn what to do next. And I rather practice in private, which I do switch up occasional poses, but there's fear to show things that are obviously are worse than my current works and there's just drawings I rather keep to myself and attempt to improve.
You're not going to do anything perfect the first time?
Understood.
But haven't you been drawing for a few years? This isn't your "first time".
A critique is supposed to tell you what to improve so you can be much more efficient and successful the next time you want to draw. Criticism has different aspects to it.
As a fabulous YouTuber I watched say,
"A critique without anything negative to say about it is basically a commercial."
And I decided to voice my concerns about certain things on your drawing, which I personally don't like your art style, but at least other people do appreciate it and that should also count?
