SO ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND MAKEUP COULD YOU HELP ME BECAUSE I'M MAKING COSTUMES AND I DON'T KNOW MAKEUP AT ALL CAUSE I WEAR ABSOLUTELY NONE.
EXCEPT LIPSTICK AT FANCY FUNCTIONS.

Which brand do you think is the best to buy from and stuff? -
Hm, depends on what kind of makeup you need, where more subtle and natural or dramatic and theatrical. o3o
Jane Iredale is good, but that shit's expensive.
NYC (New York Color) is good for eye makeup and is cheap.
I cannot stress enough though that getting a full of chemicals or goopy, nasty skin and foundation makeup is a bad idea. I can do some more research and find reasonable healthy skin makeup or paints if you need that.
I still need to make a video on how I apply and use makeup. xP -
Research for that part would be great since I'm awful at that ._.

My mom used Rubie's cream makeup for the haunted house when she worked there, and makeup was her job. It was good makeup, too. I don't know what you need though, it's not good for specific lines.

What I usually use is Covergirl, Maybelline, elf, and revlon.
Elf is really cheap, but you usually can only find it online.
