Ludwig shrugged, not really wanting to linger on the subject of money.

"Well, I had forgotten to ask you where you're from!" Veneziano chirped softly.

"Oh, yeah, I came from Germany a few days ago."

"You're from Germany?" he asked. "So that's why you're so white..~"

"Umm, yeah.." He said, laughing slightly.

Veneziano smiled. "It's nice to meet someone from Germany, though, I thought you would all be mean and scary!"

"I try not to be that way, but if you ever meet my father, he is definitely cruel and frightening."

"Really?" he asked.

Ludwig nodded. "I had quite the strict childhood, especially after my mother died."

"I'm sorry to hear about your mom," Vene said sympathetically.

"Yeah, thanks. But it happened a while ago, so it's good. I know she's happy, wherever she is."
