Ivana nodded, and walked inside, leaving the phyco nation with Itachou.

"Okay, room thirteen is at the end of the hallway. I'll be downstairs with Cretor if you need anything." Chiyo said, walking back down the stairs.

Amy smiled, and nodded her head. She twisted the key into the lock, and was met by a familiar figure. That same red echidna, with the cop outfit.
'Knuckles?' she exclaimed.
'Amy?' -
"So, how's Niobe?" Chiyo asked, sitting down in the swivil chair next to Creator. "He's fine. A pain in the ass, but fine."

The echidna ran up to the pink hedgehog. 'Wow! You've changed alot, Amy!' he gasped in awe. Amy chuckled.
'So have you, Knuckles.' she smiled. 'I hear you're a deputy, now.' -
"You two still going out?" "Yeah, why?" "Just curious." "Kay then." A puase. "You two gonna have sex?" "Chiyo!" "Sorry!"

'Yep! It's been three years since I last saw you, right?'
'Uh-huh. How's Rouge?'
'Still a slut.'
'Tails?'
'He's doing fine.'
'Cream?'
'Still annoying.' -
"Well, are you?" "Not unless we get married." "Will you?" "Depends on whether or not-why am I telling you this?" "Hehe."

Amy paused for a second.
'And Sonic?' she inquired. Knuckles had a grave look on his face.
'I haven't seen him for months. No one has.' he frowned. -
"Is Niobe still haunting room thirteen?" "He isn't haunting it. He's protecting the special visitors who stay there and, if he's feeling up to it, scares 'em a bit." "Right, right."

'Sorry, Amy. Listen, if you ever need me, just call. I'm guardin' this place, after all.'
The pink hedgehog nodded, and opened her door.
'I'll see you later, Knuckles.' -
"So, how does he do it?" "Do what?" "Stay in the room without being seen." A laugh. "He's a demon, he can cloak himself."

Amy flicked the lightswitch. An amber glow reflected on the mirror.

"You think he'll scare Amy?" "I dunno."

Suddenly, something brushed against Amy's quills. She spun around. No one there. 'Hello? Is somebody there? Hel-looo?'
