Edward Elric had to wait longer.
Finally Axel walked out. -

"Come on, miss Kalya, let's go see what happened." the younger said, taking her hand and tugging her along. "Curiosity killed the cat, you know..." she muttered, but followed none the less. -
I do too! He was actually a good guy, when you think about it.>.< .
"..A kid?" Isaac said, looking over a Melody.
Melody glared, and touched the ground, creating a spear. "Actually, a state alchemist."
Isaac shook his head, then said "And your actually planning on fighting me with that?
Melody didn't answer, she was pissed off enough with her encounter with Ling, she ran at him.
Dai watched in shock at Melody's stupidity "Melody!" -
Envy NewbieEdward ditched the report and ran outside. He ran into an alley and clapped his hands. Forming a hole in an wall.

They took their time in getting there, waiting to see if it would get any worse. Wouldn't want to walk head first into a battle, now would they? Of course, that's what they were doing....but if going slow made them happy then so be it. -
"Too slow" Isaac said, grabbing her wrist.
"Melody!"Dai yelled, appearing beside her and kicking Isaac in the chest.
Isaac stumbled backwards, letting go Of Melody's hands. It had taken some damage, though. It looked frostbit and was numb.
"Two kids?" Isaac shook his head, and begun to walk off. -
Envy NewbieEd walked through the hole and heard a fight. "None of my concern."

When they arrived, they stayed back a ways and watched from around a corner. This was normally how they worked: find something interesting, watch from a safe distance, run away when things got dangerous. Sure, Kalya couldn't really die, but her companion wasn't as lucky.

"Are you okay?" Dai asked Melody, who still clenched the spear tight. "Melody?"
"Yes."She grinded her teeth. "He's gone and done it now."
"No. Leave it to someone else. We can fill Mustang in."Dai said.
Melody didn't respond, and Isaac had disapeared. -
Envy NewbieEd turned around and saw a person. Ed clapped and changed his automail into a blade. Axel followed Ed.

"Well that didn't turn out very exciting." Ophit whispered. "No, no it didn't." Kalya whispered back, turning around to leave. "Might as well go back to finding a place to stay."

"Your arm.."Dai started, putting a hand to it.
Melody didn't look up, just continued to stare down.
"Can you feel it?"Dai asked.
Melody, again, didn't respond, just clenched her other fist tighter around the spear. -
