Thread Topic: I'm reading Asu no Yoichi

Genre: Shounen-Ecchi (ignoring the ecchi part cause I like the story)
it's about a young hermit samurai who gets kicked out of the mountains and has to live in the city for the first time of his life and he lives in his distant relatives' dojo filled with women.
First of all
a good amount of characters are mary sues. Especially samurai yoichi >:I the manga is like a series of mini stories of baddies trying to defeat the good guys and yoichi always saves the day and makes the baddies reform with a speech of his.
the stories are also terribly cliche and done before many times
however...
This is executed very well. This person is one of the few writers who is able to pull off a mary sue character, and quite well too i guess.
and I do like the story xD
So if you don't mind nudity and s--- sometimes, go read it, it's kinda funny and sweet xD and kinda girly to be honest even though its supposed to be for guys~ -

it's like an incredibly cheesy love story at the same time
love triangle
4 sisters
two sisters are in love with the samurai who is sweet, loving, and willing to give everything up to protect them
one sis is tsundere
the other is a violent 'perfect' girl
just about every girl he meets falls in love with him xD -
sounds like shoujo xD

yup...i think the only reason it's shounen is the ecchi xD
and the fact that almost every girl (including a 4th grader) has giant boobs... -

never found out who ended up with samuari (I WANTED AYAME TO WINNN YOU a--holeS)
total harem ending
stunk. rest was okay though. -
