I admit, I never thought of an Aztec Empire design. xD I never felt like drawing half-naked men in small underwear LOL.
BUT if I did, of course he's need to have slight resemblance in Fernando. :P -
Alright I'm just going to ramble on about this..
Not much of a resemblance, I mean VERY slight resemblance, because the Aztec were pretty much killed out by sickness the Spanish brought. Probably I can make the face similar. Or whatever.
The Aztecs were warriors so they weren't as short as the Mexicans today. The short ones are Mayans. There's no plz for that, and they're very famous for their intelligence. But I guess we don't want them to steal the 'big nose' fame from Russia. xD
Also they had much darker skin. You see just about anything anything in Mexico nowadays (since all kinds of people live there, of pretty much all races, [speaking of which, I remember seeing quite a few Italians there in my early days. XD Probably just on vacation though] and us Mexicans don't give a f--- of your race, as long as you're sexy and have a good heart ;P), but since the Aztec Empire was around the time the Byazantine Empire fell to the 1500s (hopefully I have that right Dx), there was no such thing as sun block, so they were burnt very easily. And they came from Spain, where everyone is fracking white. .-.
And, uhm.. the guys always had a thong thing. Yeeaaahhh.
