Flung around, like a doll. Screaming, but not heard. Bleeding, but not helped. That's how Son-kun liked to play with Vegeta. Their fights were rough, but Goku was rougher on the man that he knew would not break. And the prince was tired of it. Sometimes, he was lucky to managed to escape, alive. Sometimes, he could tame the beast. But most times, Goku would never let back in a battle. He would nearly kill his friend. Even then, the prince would come back for more torture, to see more of his blood, everyday. On occassions, he said that he wasn't in the mood. Those days, Son-kun would punch him in the face and tell him that he was a sissy. The hard Saiyan ways had finally got to him, but not in the ways Vegeta pleased. It was good that Son wanted to fight, but the Saiyan no Ouji didn't want to be KILLED. It was as though a monster had awaken in the once innocent man, A monster that couldn't be stopped, but had to be tamed before it was too late. It was Vegeta's life on the line.. Though he didn't know that

there was still some control still left in the man.. So the days went on, the blood curdling screams would ring through the ruins in which they fought, and blood and sweat would form on their bodies. A punch to the stomach. A kick to the face. It didn't matter, as long as it got them somewhere. And Kami, did it get Goku somewhere. Vegeta was a bit weaker than him, but it was enough to have the prince crying and screaming, begging to be freed from a deadly grip, one Goku would think was benign. Only then would Son release, then kick him as hard as he could. Sometimes, the battles would be even worse. In the horrible, grueling fights, Goku would use energy attacks that would strip Vegeta's clothing to almost nothing but scraps, leaving him unprotected. Those days, the prince would return home, covered in caked and fresh blood. Only on those days, would Goku give him a senzu bean, and calm down. The once calm green eyes would be harsh, the look on his face would be emotionless, but his soul.. It was still pure.

But one day, it changed. That day, Vegeta had come prepared, his hopes set high, though deep inside, he knew he couldn't tame the monster. If he tried to beat him.. Maybe he might succeed. So on that day.. He found Goku at their usual spot, smirking almost sickeningly, and was asked the usual question. "Are you ready?". The prince had swallowed roughly, and nodded. Then, without waring, Goku had disappeared. Tangled in desperation, Vegeta had looked around, searching for the eyes. But it wasn't quick enough, for once he looked back, Goku had reappeared in front of him him, punching the Saiyan on Ouji's stomach so hard, that it was enough to cut off his air. For the next minute, it started. Pain exploded up his body as he was struck at multiple weak points Goku had pin pointed long ago. Vegeta felt stupid and useless, as he screamed for his life. Tears clouded up in his eyes, and he regretted all the hope he had before. The beast couldn't ever be tamed. It was bound to kill him, or to make him suffer the

worsts tortures, beating him until he was a raw hunk of meat, then killing him. But this time.. It stopped. Goku didn't punch him. He didn't do at thing. At first, Vegeta stayed quiet, trying to bask in the silence, though the pain still stung. But it ended all too soon, when Son had slammed Vegeta's face onto the ground. "Say it!" the younger suddenly hissed. The prince didn't understand, hence his screaming. Say what? So in frustration, Goku lifted up Vegeta's head, then thrusted it back down. "Say what you feel! Do it!" The obvious answer was pain or failure, and it was the answers Goku was waiting to hear. But instead, Vegeta choked out, "Please stop.. I love you.." It came suddenly, and once it was out, it couldn't be taken back. Vegeta didn't dare look up, he feared that a ready fist would be waiting for him. But, despite his fear, Goku had lifted his head carefully, off of the ground. He didn't slam it back down. It was quiet, when Goku had said, "Look at me." Vegeta quickly obeyed, fear in his system.

To his surprise, the same green eyes were there. The ones of the man that told him everything was going to be alright if he stayed quiet. They weren't fierce anymore.. They were calm. "You what?" said the younger man, almost glaring at the terrified prince. Vegeta flinched. "I-I.. I love you.." He then readied himself for a punch to the temple, one that would knock his light out. But instead.. it was the soft lips of his opponent, pressing at his temple. Vegeta didn't understand. He knew that Goku probably felt the same.. But why had he calmed down? Strong arms wrapped around his petite waist, and Goku said, "I'm sorry." That confused the prince even more. Sorry about what? About nearly killing him. "Look at me." The older of the two had realized then that his eyes had wandered off, refusing to look at Goku.. but now he set them back at the Saiyan man. His face was now calm, and it would almost be serene if it weren't for the blood on his lips. "I'm sorry.. I was so frustrated.. I loved you too, Vegeta. I did

and have.. I wanted you to know. But you got with Bulma and.." his voice trailed off, but he continued on a different note. "You're the only one that understands me.. Don't look at me anymore, I'm sorry." he said, turning his head away. Vegeta thought tears would shine in his orbs as well.. But Goku was too strong to cry. "Kakarot.. Is frustration what drove you to nearly kill me?". Son nodded. "I'm sorry.. I should just leave." Vegeta shook his head quickly, trying to ignore the pain that still drove him to insanity. "No. But you can at least apologize for-" And without warning, the younger pressed his lips on those of the prince. A faint blush formed on his face, and he pulled away quickly. "That's good enough.." Goku smiled a little. "Hey Vegeta.." The Saiyan on Ouji blinked. "Huh?" The grin became a bit brighter. "I feel better because you love me." Vegeta barely managed to suppress a smile. "Idiot." "Your idiot." The prince nodded.. *fast forward hehe* A few hours later, after a senzu bean, Vegeta was

alright and almost back to health.. But some injuries, they knew wouldn't heal. He turned to the bright, bubbly face of Son Goku, and the face turned to him. "Hey Vegeta," he said. "What?" Goku didn't hesitate to answer. "See you tomorrow.. Buddy." Vegeta smiled.. And nodded, knowing now.. The beast was tamed.
