  The reason I dislike USUK is listed above in the incest category :P reason being the history (studied it this year)
  
  though they may not be related, I think of England and US to have the father son relationship because England CARED FOR HIM AS A CHILD, like all teenagers, America wanted more freedom thus the revolultionary war, i don't support a pairing that twists peoples actual relationships around, England's fatherly relationship towards US was twisted into something romanticized, it disgusts me. It's like me dating my foster parent.

  Yeah, that's a true rant.
  
  But I guess the reason I still like it is because it was the very first yaoi pairing I ever liked, so eh it has that significance to me. xP And I like the recent history of it.
