Hey, there. HUGE Metroid fan. Did you know there's a Metroid manga? And rumor has it that Netflix wants to do a Metroid anime, too.

Metroid's manga depicted Samus Aran, the protagonist we all know with blond hair, to have green and even purple hair at some point!

Metroid starts out with Samus as an adult, possibly 20-22 years old, but the story of the warrior starts long before that. And that's what we will be covering in the manga...and in this thread!

The story starts when our young bounty hunter was four years old. She lost her parents to the most fearful of all space dragons--Ridley, God of Death. Samus was left in the care of the Galactic Federation, along with her 2-year-old brother Solomon. Ever since that day, Samus knew what she'd do in life: find Ridley and bring justice to the fallen, but it wasn't to be an easy task for a mere human such as herself.
Note: In the manga and the games, there is a discrepancy, so she was also taken care of by the Chozo, a mystical bird race. She was given the blood of the Chozo, and that's what gave her the abilities she has now. The Federation found her later on and raised her. -
