But based on Hetalia, isn't Arthur in some ways Alfred's dad? ._. -

No, because they are 1 not related in any way, 2 Arthur's human age is 23, and Alfred's human age is 19. 3 I believe America was preceded by a Native American character.
I can see it as seen like that a little bit but in my mind it's not like that at all. Plus Alfred grew up very quick. If anything I could see it in the very beginning as brotherly, but over time it changed.
So... that's what I believe. :3 -
