In short, it covers the long distance relationship between Tohno and Akari during certain points in Tohno's life (It's three episodes so first episode covers when he's a young teen, the second episode covers when he's 18 I think, and the last episode is the shortest and covers when he's an adult.) and how exactly their relationship works out.
I'm not going to spoil anything, you go and watch it for yourself. It's a little over an hour.
Anyways, I'm not all that fond of the style used for the characters (reminds me a lot of Air for some reason and HSOTD, not really sure why..) but the backgrounds were done stupendously. Like, holy s---. The skies sometimes were so f---ing fascinating to look at.
It's no Clannad and especially not Sweet Pool to me when it gets to sadness, but it does leave you thinking for a while. And I think that all of us, as people who have met over the internet and live so far from each other, can especially relate to the film~
So yeah, I totally recommend it. It's not "omfg!!!!" but it's worth the watch.
