I hated the game. It was a complete mess of abuse and douchebags and making a girl stupid and ridiculous as hell and it was frankly disgusting. Plot was terrible and all over the place, never did it stay consistent.
Although, the art for both the anime and game seems nice. Pastel colors and all. I liked the guy with the glasses, he was a bit boring to be honest but hey nothing wrong with that. -
my hope is that the anime is nothing like the game.

I never played the game, I just watched the anime. I made this thread to see the people's opinions. Most people hate the anime, others like it. I think that the anime and game might be alike. From the way you described it, I conclude that you aren't a big fan of the game. -
KorilinieChan NewbieI personally belive Diabolik Lovers to be an exquisite work of art. what the girl went through was horrific, yes, but you've got to admit that worse things happen every day in reality, and also that almost every anime has something 10 times worse, happen to a character from time to time. My favorite is Subaru, likewise Shu is also an enjoyable character. I have never played the game, but I do not need to to be able to appreciate such a magnificent work of art. we all have different opinions, and we understand that not everyone will like the anime, but before you bash on it, i would ask of you to please atleast give it a chance. Thank you~
