Eternal nightmare part 4

Hi. Number four of the Eternal Nightmare stories. You were just rescued from Demon possibly against your will. The boys are Zach(blue eyes), Joseph(brown eyes), and Ethan (green eyes).

You are going to learn more about the Temple of Control and possible your parents. By the way I need a name for the Demon so even if you don't like him leave me a comment for his name. Say -Demon should be called (NAME). I will pick one to use in five. Thanks. Enjoy

  1. So you asked the boys to tell you more about the Temple of Control and your being the Grey Goddess. "Well," Ethan tries to answer, then said, "Joseph why don't you tell the story. You're the only one who really remembers." Joseph nods and turns to you. "It's like this Sylvia. A couple hundred years ago the worst demon ever captured the Goddess of Light. He forced her to marry him and they had a child. You. Because you have the blood of both light and dark you can choose to help either one gain control of the land of eternal light." Joseph finishes and smiles tenatively at you. You think
  2. "Why is Joseph the only one who remembers?" you ask. "Because of his powers," explains Ethan. "Part of being super smart mean that you have a really good memory. All of us are the same age, but only Joseph remembers when you were born." "Whoa, wait." you say. You guys were there hundreds of years ago when I was born." The boys all nodded. "Then why am I still in my teens," you ask. "Your mother couldn't prevent your father from taking you, but she managed to put a spell on you that meant you couldn't grow up until he released you into the human world," Zach told you. "Oh" you say unable to think of a better response.
  3. "And the Temple of control?" you remember. "That where we're taking you beautiful," says Zach. For the first time you notice that all the boys have backpacks. Ethan's is the biggest obviously. Joseph and Zach glance at Ethan. "Oh yeah," Ethan says. Before you can react he picks you up and holds you in his arms. Zach looks at you and then snaps his fingers. Where do you want to go?
  4. You appear in the blackness of... well since you can't see you have no idea. Ethan, who's still holding you calls, "Guys?" Two light appear beside you. One comes from Zach's hand and the other comes from a lantern that Joseph is holding. Immediately you release your own light. It is blue white and expands past the bounderies of the other lights. You are amazed at it's intensity. It's never been that bright before. The guys stare at you awed. Zach recovers first. "Nice" he says. You smile and look around. You want to see a
  5. What you actually see is a huge green hedge about ten feet tall and extending as far as you can see. In front of you is the only opening in the hedge. "Why didn't we teleport straight to the Temple?" you ask. "If we could we would have. The Temple is guarded with complex spells. To prove that you are worthy to enter, you must pass through this maze and all of the challenges in it," Zach explained. You feel...
  6. You take a breath breath and grab whoevers hand is closest to you. Then you all step into the maze. Suddenly the world spins, the entrance to the maze vanishes, and your light goes out. When the spinning stops, you see that Zach's light is also out. Only the lantern Joseph brought still allows you to see. "No magical light is allowed inside the maze since the demon took control of the Temple." You nod thankful that he had the light with him. "What's the first challenge?" you wonder out loud. "That," Ethan points. What do you expect it to be?
  7. In front of you blocking the passage in the maze is a silver grey light floating about four feet in the air. "What's is it," you ask mesmerized. "A riddle messanger." says Joseph. "I's one of the least dangerous things in the maze. If you answer the question right, you pass. If you don't then you have towait for several days before you get another riddle to try." You take a deep breath and think...
  8. "Please tell us the riddle," you say to the light. In a soft voice that could've been male or female the light spoke-Today is your lucky day. There is more than one. You must answer three riddles to pass. - You look at the three guys. They nod. "Go ahead," you say to the light. "First riddle me this, if a giant pilages a town with no graveyard, where do you bury the surviors?" You think hard for a moment...
  9. "Surviors don't need to be buried," you say confidently. "correct," says the riddle messanger. Ethan and Zach behind you exhale quietly. Joseph smiles and says "I knew you could do it." -Next question, says the riddle light- The more there is of me the less you see, what am I.-
  10. "Darkness" you say. The answer is after all, surronding you. -Correct, last question. What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?" Your eyes widen as you hear this. You think hard for a moment before turning to the boys. "Help," you say. Ethan shakes his head. "We've already earned passage into the Temple. We're only here to make sure you don't get killed. We can't help you with the simple things." You
  11. Finally, you remember you fifth grade lesson in landscapes. "A river?" you guess. "Correct," says the riddle messanger. "You may pass. Instantly it disappears. You relax and turn to the boys. They smile at you. Joseph looks like he wants to kiss you, but he catches your eye, blushes and looks away. (That was great!) you here before he raises a wall between your mind and his.
  12. "Lets go," says Zach taking your hand. You blush but let him keep it. He pulls you along running hard. "We need to be at a certain place before something else shows up." You run faster. Finally out of breath you stop in an open clearing. The boys set up a tent and make a fire. You sit down inside the tent hoping that nothing will eat you while you sleep. Then suddenly you here a great huge crash and a yellow orange fire ball hits your tent and CLIFFHANGER!
