Against Time (part1)

Leai: Long and Thick Reddish Blonde hair, Green/ Hazel eyes, tanish skin, cupid bow lips, long, pointed finger nails, skinny, Freckles, usually wears knee high boots (no high heel), skinny jeans, black tank top, denim jacket. With thin finger less gloves

Micheal: Brown hair, light blue eyes, regular skin tone, average weight, usually wears sneakers, jeans, with a black, red, green, or blue T-shirt.....

  1. (Micheal's POV) I woke up this morning with the TV on. The death toll was rising fast. Everyone knew what the cause was but yet, they do nothing. I guess it's because of the Half Moon DSN group killing people like crazy with their powers and stuff. No one is sure what the "S" stands for but they know D and N stand for DOOM NIGHT. School has been cancelled for weeks. And I don't blame them. Who would want to send there kid to a school where they could die? I know I wouldn't. I got out of bed to call Leai and exchange our regular Saturday wake up calls. When her dad picked up I got a bad feeling. "Hello?", said her Dad on the other line. "Oh, hey Mr.Saintis. Is Leai home?", I asked. "Leai hasn't been home since Wednesday. Sorry Micheal." and without even saying good bye, he hung up. Is Leai dead? Is she lost? Did she run away? With that, I got into my regular clothes and went outside to search for Leai. Beside the other questions whirling in my mind at the moment, one scared me the most. Has she become a Half Moon DSN? I couldn't think about it. I kept walking down the road. I heard a crack and stopped. Normally, people would just keep walking. You can never keep walking here. If you keep walking, there's a big chance of meeting that "nice" little light in the sky.
  2. I look behind me nothing. But when I whirled back around I regretted it. I saw Leai. Yeah sure, you'd think I'd be happy to she wasn't dead. But this, is much WORSE than her being dead. As I feared so much, it was true. She was a HALF MOON DSN. I backed away slowly. People who had become one most of the time go insane. But Leai was clam. Staring into the leaves of the trees. "Hello, Micheal.", she said without turning. I was too afraid to answer. Trust me. Most people in my case would. I knew she felt my fear. She didn't move. Just watched. She smiled,"You don't have to be afraid. I'm perfectly sane. And I left all my weapons in the woods, where I usually do. So, if I do suddenly go insane, you can defend yourself." Something about her voice felt strange. It felt weird. Like, air...or something. She spoke soft. I decided to reply,"Turn around and face me, Leai...Please."I didn't beg. She just never answers a commend without a please. When she turned to me I saw why everyone was afraid of the DSN. No, they were not hideous monsters. They had fangs. And their eyes showed hatred and death. When they show no expression they just look creepy. When I looked at the scratches all over her I felt bad. She even had one over her eye. "Leai, did the-", she cut me off. "Yes. They found me. But I still escaped." When she said "They found me" she didn't mean the DSN group. She meant real people. Some people were brave enough to look for them. "You're coming back to my house. I don't want them to find you again.", I said. We only had each other. SO, we made an agreement to keep each other alive. "Okay. But only because of the agreement. You know, they search houses too." "Or course. But this time, you won't be alone." She smiled. Not like the in humane smile from before. I real smile. There's my Leai...
  3. (Leai's POV) When we finally reached his house it felt like nothing had happened. That I was still a semi-normal teenager. He asked me questions and stuff. Not that he didn't trust me, he was just curious. I was still trying to resist the urge to kill. I wanted to before this all happened but...I didn't for Micheal. Now it was in me. It got harder and harder. When he took me up to what used to be his sister's room and say good night, I began to think,"Just once. While he's asleep."
  4. When I was sure he was asleep I snuck outside. I went to the woods to get my bow. I still had a lot of arrows, which made me think of how many people I could kill. Over thirty. Then I stopped myself from thinking further. I even changed my motto,"One kill can do a lot. But even more is permanent." I saw a person walking down the street. 'Idiot...' I thought to myself. I tip-toed behind him. I loaded my bow ready to shoot when all of a sudden, the police came. Dalmit. I started running. Continuously shooting people down. In the end there was a twenty four count. I backed away. When I bumped into someone they put handcuffs on me. Just great. They took me into the car. "Silly, silly, girl...What's your name kid?" I didn't reply. The knew everyone who was a DSN's name. "Come on kiddo. Just want to know you're name." I sighed, knowing I wasn't going to win. "Leai Saintis." He stopped the car. "Aha. Another one." He turned around and started heading toward the place where all DSN's doom took place when they were caught. One pretty sucky thing about being a DSN is that you can't save yourself when you get caught. Only the people who still care for you can. Worst off all, everyone in town is called to watch the killing of a DSN. It's even shown on TV worldwide. I gulped as they brought me the a cinder. A cinder is a small one person steel room with no windows, and no food. There isn't even a door. There's a cover on the top. They made it to high to climb out. And it was to narrow the fly out. I sighed. I told Micheal I'd stay alive for him. Well, that obviously wasn't going to happen.
