Do you know your homeschool style? Your homeschool style (aka: approach, method, philosophy) is your natural inclination or approach to homeschooling. There are many styles, but this quiz will focus on the six main ones: Charlotte Mason, Classical, Eclectic,Traditional, Unit Studies, and Unschooling.

I've created a short, fun, and simple quiz to help guide you toward discovering your homeschool style. There are seven multiple choice questions. Choose what best fits you right now. Be honest with yourself. Afterward, you'll receive a suggestion of what kind of homeschool style reflects you.

When does your school day begin?
- When do we not learn? We homeschool 24/7. It's a lifestyle.
- A few hours with a number of subjects and a flexible routine is plenty.
- 8:15-3:15, Monday-Friday just like our public school down the street.
- When we start bible study until our work is done.
- Our school day is 9:00-4:00 (7 hours) to outperform the 6-hour day at our local public school.
- Our school starts whenever my child(ren) wake up.
Your Ideal curriculum is:
- Literature based. If it has Shakespeare, rhetoric, the quadtrivium, etc. I'm buying it.
- One with lesson plans, letter grades, textbooks, workbooks, report cards and a teacher guide.
- Science from a creationist view and lots of bible study.
- Curriculum shmrriculum. The world is our curriculum!
- Games! And more games.
- One that honors journaling, art, nature and imaginative play.
- Where we can learn everything via our interests.
Do you agree with the public school system?

You have a child who is crazy over World War I, you:
- Read letters soldiers wrote.
- Read the library out of books on WWI and do lots of hands-on stuff.
- Build lots of paper soldiers, tanks, planes ect...
- You're learning about ancient times this year, maybe another year
- Dig a trench in the yard and live in it for a week.
- Learn about wars in Jesus's time.
How long is your kids lunch break?
- We go on long nature walks and have a picnic lunch.
- 20 min. while I read classics to the kids and they eat, then we switch.
- Lunch and learning blends into one.
- If you include Grace, it's 44 min.
- 20 min. for lunch and 40 min. for play.
You decide to drive across the U.S.A. in May when the weather is ideal in most states, you:
- Have long discussions about the places you've been and do a lot of site seeing.
- Do lots of site seeing and stock up on lots of books to learn more about the places you've been.
- Load the car with classics and visit all the historic sites.
- Have art supplies and activity books in the car. For site seeing go to lots of parks.
- Bring along the full curriculum and don't let the kids go site seeing until they've done their work.
- Have a recording of good sermons to listen to and go to every single church in the country.
