100th Annual Hunger Games SYOT

Have you read the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins? Do you like writing? Do you like SYOTS? Do you like seeing your characters that YOU made being brought to life? (Only to most likely die)

The 100th Annual Hunger Games are coming up soon. Tributes are needed to battle their district partner (thanks to the twist) and maybe make it to a wicked arena.

  1. The 100th Annual Hunger Games are rapidly approaching, and the twist has not yet been announced. Dorius Clearwater, the newly appointed Head Gamemaker, is designing the arena. Always an introvert, he works alone. "A castle.." He mutters as he sketches up a plan. "Full of mutts..." He writes as he scratches stubble in his chin, "Surrounded by a jungle.." He admires his work. "Panem won't forget this arena anytime soon."
  2. President Romulus Novak, a man of middle age, wrung his hands as he prepared to step up onto a podium of announce the twist. The eccentric Capitol waited below, covered in ink and metal. The man scorned them and their foolishness. Ignoring these thoughts, he straightened his tie and strode up to cheers. "Welcome Panem." He boomed. "As you all know, this year is the 4th Quarter Quell, and the 100th Annual Hunger Games." The crowd screamed. "For the 1st Quarter Quell, the twenty four tributes were voted by their district to represent them." He cleared his throat. "Twenty five years later, forty eight tributes were reaped. And twenty five years ago, for the 75th Annual Hunger Games, only past victors were reaped." The president took a yellowed envelope labeled '100' from a young boy. "This year's twist," he said as he unfolded a slip of paper...
  3. "As a reminder that kin betrayed kin during the rebellion, twenty four tributes shall be reaped as normal from each of the twelve districts, but prior to entering the arena, each district pair shall fight to the death in a smaller arena. Therefore, twelve tributes shall enter the arena."
  4. It's up to you to decide which twenty for tributes are reaped. Submit up to three tributes in the reviews, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

  9. This is how the plot line will go: District battles in order, then the opening ceremony, then training, then interviews, and then the Games.
  10. If you submit more than one tribute, I'll make sure at least one makes it past the initial disrict battles.
